Have a look at our poster at virtual AMP virtual 2020 Annual Meeting & Expo (November 16-20, 2020) presenting a workflow evaluation on the impact of specimen storage and transport on ccfRNA multiplex analysis in dedicated blood collection tubes - presented by PreAnalytiX Associate Director R&D Dr. Thorsten Voss.

November 16-20, 2020

Join us at AMP virtual 2020 Annual Meeting & Expo and visit the poster of our scientist Dr. Thorsten Voss to learn more about Workflow Evaluation – Impact of Specimen Storage and Transport on ccfRNA Multiplex Analysis in dedicated Blood Collection Tubes.

In addition to circulating cell-free DNA from blood, circulating cell-free RNA (ccfRNA) has gained relevance for liquid biopsy biomarker studies. The combination of insights from both analytes provides increased understanding of molecular processes, such as tumor biology. There are still challenges to overcome in the preanalytical workflow, to preserve the valuable information of the original ccfRNA profile.

In this research study, we investigated an exemplary workflow with blood collection in different tubes, transport, ccfRNA isolation from plasma and analysis with the NanoString PanCancer panel in concordance to ISO 20186-3.

Poster presentation at Thursday, November 19, 2020: 1:00pm – 2:00pm Eastern Time

Poster number: TT11, Category: Technical Topics
