Welcome our new family member: the PAXgene Saliva Collector for non-invasive sample collection, storage, and transportation with stabilization of nucleic acids

August 2021

We are very excited to announce the launch of our new product, the PAXgene Saliva Collector

Preanalytical steps can cause variability in nucleic acids quality and yield, which can render results from different labs and between different operators incomparable. The PAXgene Saliva Collector is a non-invasive, easy-to-use sample collection device that completes the comprehensive preanalytical workflow providing standardized methods from human saliva collection, stabilization, transport and storage to nucleic acid purification and analyses. Thereby contributing to reliability and reproducibility of your test results.

The PAXgene Saliva Collector stabilizes DNA and SARS-CoV-2 derived RNA levels in human saliva and is compatible with existing QIAGEN automated and manual extraction kits. The nucleic acids can be used for standard molecular test methods such as RT-qPCR, qPCR, dPCR and NGS
