Perfect match for high-quality blood samples: read this recent publication about PAXgene Blood ccfDNA Tubes in standardized liquid biopsy workflows

September 2024

A recent publication in the renowned journal Clinical Chemistry by researchers from the Medical University of Graz and CBmed highlights the value of integrating preanalytical ISO and CEN/TS standards in clinical liquid biopsy studies. The study specifically used PAXgene Blood ccfDNA Tubes for blood collection and cell-free DNA (cfDNA) stabilization and isolation from plasma, following the international standard ISO 20186-3:2019.

Principal investigator Prof. Amin El-Heliebi emphasizes: "The advantage of applying the standards is that even challenging hemolytic patient samples can still produce high-quality circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) or circulating tumor cell (CTC) data."

Discover how these advancements can enhance cancer diagnostics and read the open-access publication!
