Listen to our on-demand webinar on Saliva as easy-to-use sample type in integrated workflows for DNA and SARS-CoV-2 research presented by PreAnalytiX Scientific Expert Franziska Kaiser

What challenges do you face when setting up workflows using saliva as sample material?

There is an urgent need for specimen quality improvement by standardizing preanalytical workflows in order to reduce analytical errors. Human saliva collection is non-invasive and easy-to-do. Once collected, the saliva can be used for nucleic acid isolation in various research applications, as well as detection and quantification of viruses such as SARS-CoV-2.

PreAnalytiX Scientific Expert Franziska Kaiser will present a preanalytical workflow suggestion using the PAXgene Saliva Collector for saliva collection linked to automated and manual QIAGEN nucleic acid extraction and is happy to answer questions about human gDNA and SARS-CoV-2 RNA stabilization and isolation from saliva.
