BD Safety-Lok™ Blood Collection Set
Intended
Use: The BD Safety-Lok™ blood collection set (SLBCS) is a sterile, single
use, multiple sample device used to perform a venipuncture for the purpose
of collecting blood samples. This device includes an attached sliding
shield that the user activates after venipuncture to help prevent
accidental needle stick injuries.
BD Vacutainer™ Holder
Intended
Use: The BD Vacutainer™ holder is for use with standard single or
multiple sample blood collection needles in routine blood collection.
The BD Vacutainer™ holder is an injection molded device made of
polypropylene. The thick walls of the holder provide stability and
rigidity to the user during venipuncture.
BD Vacutainer™ Disposable Container
The BD Vacutainer™ disposal container is made of puncture-resistant
polypropylene. The container is not entirely puncture-proof. It consists
of a container and a lid.
